With our head office located in Melbourne and staff in London, New York, Jaipur, Warsaw, Manila and Tel Aviv, our group is growing rapidly around the globe and is strategically positioned to take advantage of new opportunities in the tech and data sectors.
Head of commercial and strategy. A co-founder and partner at GTG and with degrees in commerce and science (majoring in mathematics and statistics), Nathan gained experience in private wealth management prior to founding various start-ups in the online and consumer engagement industries. Known for thinking outside the box, Nathan’s strategic view on global markets has seen him invited to speak to audiences all over the world. In his spare time Nathan is an avid Carlton Football club supporter in the AFL and enjoys sampling different cuisines as part of his travels.
Head of Product. A co-founder and partner at GTG and with a degree in commerce (majoring in economics and human resource management), Jared is responsible for the management and growth of our products and teams. With a unique ability to conceptualise ideas and know the exact process required to bring them to life, Jared is the man you want in charge of products that make global impact. He has always loved technology and sport and now he gets to lead close to 100 developers every day in building out fresh ideas that reshape the sporting digital landscape.
The Creative Flair. Brett has an eye for detail and a remarkable ability to create and enhance existing products. A love for Lego as a child paved the way for a passion in building and developing technology. With a degree in Communications (Media), Brett has a focus on data analysis and content creation. Whether it is providing a light-bulb moment that can change the shape of a product or a completely original idea, Brett’s creativity has seen him add significant value to a number of products delivered under the Genius umbrella.
The Wise Head. Graduating from the University of Melbourne as a dentist, Leon has over 30 years of venture capital experience including successful ASX listings and trade sales. He is presently a director of Haemair and Haemaflow, two unlisted public companies in the UK, as well as retaining directorships in Australia. He places a strong emphasis on entrepreneurialism, culture, risk management, focus, governance and reputation. His key roles within GTG have related to ensuring the financial health of the business through its early growth phase, mentoring the young geniuses and encouraging them to reach for the sky.
John is an executive with CEO, COO and Board experience at The NFL, Van Wagner, Yahoo! and start-ups broadcast.com and UPGRADED. John initiated and negotiated 75+ partnership deals with media, technology and sports organizations including Disney, Microsoft, FIFA, NFL/NFLPA, and MLB/MLBPA and pioneered multinational, integrated digital media partnership with the NBA and WNBA across all Yahoo! network platforms. John is also known for pioneering consumer technology properties, which came into play at broadcast.com, where he was working for co-founder Mark Cuban when it was acquired by Yahoo! in 1999, as well as a new division within the NFL that recruited John in 1995. He developed exclusive programming and collaborated on the packaging and sale of multimedia content to sponsors such as Microsoft, Budweiser, and IBM. Additionally, John is the co-founder and Board Chair of the nonprofit FAN4Kids, which educates children and parents in urban school systems about healthy eating and fitness, reaching 3,200+ students each week.
The International Guru. A GM-trained engineer, Lee has held senior marketing roles with Hertz in both UK and Europe. Former marketing director, British Horseracing Board, Lee has also held C-level roles with Tote Direct, Coral-Eurobet plc, Chartwell Games International, Boylesports and ONEworks. MBA from Strathclyde and Fellow of the UK Chartered Institute of Marketing. Lee is our International Development Director and brings great experience and enthusiasm to our international expansion.
The Perfectionist. With an eye for detail and a penchant for accuracy, James ensures that we deliver on one of the key foundations of our business – data integrity. James began with the business straight out of high school and has seen it grow immensely during his time. He has willingly taken on a wide variety of roles and now heads up operations. His youthful exuberance and fun-loving nature play a big part in the office culture and keep his fellow team members young. James’ work ethic is second-to-none and his commitment is invaluable to the success of the business.
The Chief Architect. Leo is the planner and architect with over 20 years of development experience and a passion for turning visions into reality. Having implemented solutions in defence, digital marketing and business intelligence, Leo brings with him a wealth of software engineering management and cloud infrastructure skills to lead the technological drive at the GTG. His areas of interest include cloud services, data science and artificial intelligence research.
A Real Tech Genius. Ravi is a web application developer with over 13 years of experience. He received his masters of computer applications with Honours from the University of Rajasthan and is an IBM certified application developer, proficient in an extensive range of development languages and techniques. Ravi was offered a role as software engineer by Google in 2007 but elected to stay in his hometown of Jaipur, experimenting with his own projects and gaining experience in a wide range of enterprise level projects including ERP, Accounting Solutions and Complex Finance Solutions. Ravi has been with the GTG since its inception and continues to lead our technical innovation. Ravi is a driving force behind our success and prides himself on his continual research of cutting edge technology and commitment to professional development.
The Dynamic Developer. Development is Ritesh's passion and he loves a challenge, with a focus on applying new technology to Genius products. Ritesh has developed a strong knowledge of sports data and database management, and utilises a range of development languages and techniques in his daily activities to ensure the smooth operation of our products. Ritesh has a Bachelor of Technology (majoring in Computer Science), and has over 9 years of experience in software development. As part of his contribution over different phases of development, Ritesh works with several teams in our Jaipur office. In his spare time, Ritesh is a fanatical driver and don't be surprised to see him doing laps of Formula One in the future.
Our very own Superwoman! Vicky's deep knowledge of business processes and data organisation has enabled her to excel in her role as Administration Manager within our group. She has a background in education which helps us teach and induct new members across our growing global team. Vicky continually strives for perfection and is adored by her two children.
